잘 이해가 않갔는데 알아보니 "Stop Gap" 이라함은 "Short term fix with no guarantees"라고 하네요.
온라인 영영 사전에는 "something that fills the place of something else that is lacking; temporary substitute; makeshift."라고 합니다.
한국어로는 "임시 대체" 정도로 되겠네요.
